iOS Developer Beta 5 Released: What’s New?

Apple started seeding the iOS 11 Developer beta 5 today. We are looking to see what’s new in the latest beta release. iOS 11 beta 4 was released only 2 weeks ago by Apple for developers and the iOS 11 beta 3 for public beta testers just after that.Apple’s previous iOS 11 Apple’s previous iOS 11 betas introduced refinements to Notification Center, changes to multitasking on iPad, new TV Provider placeholder listings, and other minor tweaks. As we approach the final release this fall, we expect more refinements ahead of the last few beta versions. We will update this article as soon as we find out new features in the new iOS 11 beta 5.   iOS Beta 5 Known Changes: Messages in iCloud no longer supported, returning in a future iOS 11 update Lines removed from Camera icon A tweak to the music control center option. iCloud Messages has been removed. iOS 11 5th beta fixes AirPlay, and tapping the AirPlay button in videos that are not full screen will no longer crash some apps. There’s also a fix for a Calendar bug that could cause crashes when dragging items into the Calendar app, and FaceTime Live Photos is now an option that’s enabled by default. New wave icon on Now Playing in Control Center to quickly change speaker sources. Swiping ‘Open’ from an alert launches the app now. New Settings icon.
