HYANNIS – An A&B suspect made the evening more difficult for police officers when he decided he was going to do things the hard way.   Shortly after 11:00PM last evening, Barnstable Patrol Officers were called to an address on Pine Ave after receiving a report of some type of disturbance out in the street.   Police spoke with a female sitting inside a parked vehicle.   Officers then knocked for a period of time on the doors of a nearby residence in order to speak with a male suspected of Assault & Battery on an Intimate Partner. There was no answer.   As you will see in the following HN Video, several officers opened a couple of first floor Windows and climbed into the residence in order to arrest the suspect.   As they were climbing in, the suspect burst out of the home and tried to run away barefooted. He didn’t get far…   Officers took the suspect to the ground and placed him in custody. He was charged with A&B on an Intimate Partner, and Resisting Arrest, according to radio transmissions.   Hyannis Rescue responded to help the female victim… she did not need to be transported to hospital.   The following HN Video highlights the scene…   [Press play]   NOTE: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law…       (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});       P.S. – Today's Hytown Vignette is brought to you by Johnny Cash...
