Major League Baseball player who knelt for National Anthem arrested for violently brandishing a gun

Earlier this year, Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell was the only Major League Baseball player who refused to stand for the National Anthem, as a protest against police violence towards minorities. But last night, the 26-year-old was arrested for violently brandishing a gun aimed at a female fast food employee's head, reports TMZ. "Scottsdale PD tells [TMZ] Maxwell, 26, was arrested Saturday at 6:08 PM at his Scottsdale, AZ home. Cops say the alleged victim was a female food delivery driver who told them Maxwell pointed a gun at her." It is not obvious what led up to the incident, but Maxwell is currently being detained on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon as well disorderly conduct. ...
