Estadio Dennis Martinez Opened October 2017 Another year of field clinics, Baseball field development and new ballparks is in the books! Seems like yesterday we were working the 2017 WBC. It’s a bit hard to capture everything in a TOP 10ish list so let’s go with the bullet concept because they were all number 1 in my book. · Our Brightview sportsturf managers spent some time at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches working on mounds and bullpens for the Nationals and Astros. Opening on time was the goal and with a lot of teamwork from a lot of contractors they helped make it happen. barranquilla colombia edgar renteria stadium · Started a new stadium and field project in Barranquilla Colombia. Edgar Renteria Stadium. Should be opening next spring. Guadalajara WBC · The World Baseball Classic was up there and as I mentioned, it’s hard to believe that happened this year. We had crews in Guadalajara, Japan and Korea… And to top it off team USA came home with the Gold! Our friends in Israel had a great run for their debut in the tournament. MLB Little League Classic and the awesome Williamsport field crew! · The MLB Little League Game in Williamsport took up much of the first half of the year building a Bowman field for the Cardinals and Pirates. Our Brightview teams along with our friends at Baam/Populous were assembled to pull together another unique event for MLB. We are Heading back in 2018 for another game! · Managua opened there ne ...
