Local authorities are investigating an apparent suicide at Rotary Park.Springfield Park District Police chief Laimutis "Limey" Nargelenas said a man’s body was discovered in a Baseball dugout by someone walking their dog about 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The man, a Springfield resident in his early 60s, had apparently hung himself inside the dugout.The body was partially obscured by the dugout and could not be seen from the nearby road.Rotary Park was closed as [...] ...
