Washington’s Nationals landed three players on MLB Pipeline’s list of the Top 100 prospects in Baseball. Victor Robles, Juan Soto, and Carter Kieboom made the list... Victor Robles and Juan Soto were the only Washington Nationals’ prospects to crack either Baseball America or ESPN’s Keith Law’s list of the Top 100 prospects for 2018, but they were joined on MLB Pipeline’s list by 20-year-old, 2016 Nats’ first round pick Carter Kieboom. Selected out of Walton High School in Marietta, GA with the 28th overall pick in the ‘06 Draft, Kieboom, a shortstop whose brother Spencer was a 2012 5th Round pick by the Nationals, was described by Nats’ GM Mike Rizzo as a, “slick fielding shortstop that has good range and really, really good hands,” on the day of the Draft, with the Nationals’ General Manager adding that Kieboom, “... really knows the game and [has] great feet and [a] great arm to play the position.� Read more Carter Kieboom news ...
