GamesCom is expecting an exhibitor record in its tenth year. GamesCom has experienced a 100 percent increase in exhibitors, a 45 percent increase in visitors and a 68 percent increase in exhibition space since 2009, according to a press release sent out by its PR team today. According to current figures, a new exhibitor record is expected, with the booking results currently lying around 20 percent higher than those in 2017. "GamesCom has grown enormously in both quantity and quality in past years," says Gerald Böse, President and Chief Executive Officer of Koelnmesse GmbH . "And this year too, all signs point to the continuation of the success story: we presume that GamesCom 2018 will surpass the 1,000 exhibitors mark. GamesCom has enormous charisma.
