Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2019 extended gameplay demo won’t release at Gamescom 2019, confirmed for PAX West 2019

Source: www.dsogaming.com --- Sunday, June 16, 2019
Last week, we informed you about the main reason why CD Projekt RED has not streamed online the E3 2019 gameplay demo of Cyberpunk 2077. As CD Projekt RED stated, the main reason behind this was to build further hype and it appears that this extended gameplay demo won’t be released at GamesCom 2019. As CD Projekt RED’s Marcin Momot confirmed, this extended gameplay demo will be made available during PAX West 2019 (obviously we’re talking about the video and not the build/demo itself). It's going to happen exactly during PAX West. 🙂 — Marcin Momot (@Marcin360) June 12, 2019 PAX West 2019 begins on August 30th and will last until September 2nd. CD Projekt RED did not clarify when exactly it will release the gameplay demo, meaning that this may happen during the last day of the event. Similarly to last year’s gameplay demonstration, we expect CD Projekt RED to release a video that will be close to 50 minutes, though we are almost certain that this video will not feature any of the recently announced ray tracing effects (as those are specific/exclusive to the PC version). In conclusion, we now have a date for when those that have not attended E3 2019 or GamesCom 2019 will be able to see the game’s latest gameplay footage. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled for an April 16th, 2020, release! ...

Blizzard Recently Cancelled a Project That Was in Development for 2 Years According to Former Employee

Source: http://bit.ly/Z9Ydai --- Wednesday, June 05, 2019
Blizzard has been in an odd place as of late, with its massive layoffs of nearly 800 employees , its lack of planned releases in 2019 , and the fact that it won’t be attending GamesCom this year in order to work on games . Along with those points comes an interesting nugget of information from a former Blizzard developer. The now ex-employee, David Gibson, took to Twitter and mentioned that the game he and his team were working on for the past two years had been cancelled and would never see the light of day. The tweet can be seen below: Well, today is my last day at Blizzard. Unfortunately you’ll never see what we made over the past 2 years-that’s gamedev, but we’ll always have Overwatch. I get 6 weeks off(I need it) until my next gig starts, info soon. And one last time, my OW Reel: https://t.co/2b7J88Gysw pic.twitter.com/alwakoU9zA — David Gibson (@PoodleTime) June 5, 2019 PB = PB || {}; PB.gptStandAlone = PB.gptStandAlone || {}; PB.gptAutoRefresh = PB.gptAutoRefresh || {'gptAds':[], 'gptStandAlone':[]}; googletag.cmd.push(function() { var standAloneSizeMapping = googletag.sizeMapping().addSize([0, 0], []).addSize([750, 0], [[300, 250]]).addSize([980, 0], [[300, 250]]).build(); PB.gptStandAlone['ros_300x250_p_slot4_1559787660'] = googletag.defineSlot('/4403/cr/playstationlifestyle/ros', [[300, 250]], 'ros_300x250_p_slot4_1559787660') .defineSizeMapping(standAloneSizeMapping) .addService(googletag.pubads()) .setTargeting('pos', ...

Gamescom Is Coming To Asia In 2020

Source: www.unpause.asia --- Wednesday, May 29, 2019
GamesCom is one of the biggest European gaming trade fairs in the world and next year we’ll be getting our very own Asian edition in Singapore. The event has been held in Cologne, Germany since 2009 and it attracts over 370,000 attendees every year. GamesCom asia will be held from the 15th to 18th of October in 2020 and will function as a showcase platform for local and international games. As well as a platform for game developers in Asia to reach a global market (and vice versa). On May 29th a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between GamesCom event organiser Koelnmesse and the Singapore Tourism Board to mark their new partnership for the upcoming event. “This is a launch event that we are all looking forward to. The region has been hungry for a Tier One gaming event and we now have all the ingredients to successfully cater to this need. With strong partnerships with GameStart, the Singapore government, and the gaming ecosystem, we are expecting to attract over 30,000 enthusiasts and gaming industry professionals to the inaugural GamesCom asia.” – Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Singapore Image Credit: Vulcan Post GamesCom asia will be working along side a local video game convention event organiser of GameStart Asia . While we’re sad to see GameStart Asia end we’re looking forward to what GamesCom asia is going to bring. “GameStart will now be handing over the reins to GamesCom asia, and (we) look forwar ...
