GamesCom is one of the biggest European gaming trade fairs in the world and next year we’ll be getting our very own Asian edition in Singapore. The event has been held in Cologne, Germany since 2009 and it attracts over 370,000 attendees every year. GamesCom asia will be held from the 15th to 18th of October in 2020 and will function as a showcase platform for local and international games. As well as a platform for game developers in Asia to reach a global market (and vice versa). On May 29th a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between GamesCom event organiser Koelnmesse and the Singapore Tourism Board to mark their new partnership for the upcoming event. “This is a launch event that we are all looking forward to. The region has been hungry for a Tier One gaming event and we now have all the ingredients to successfully cater to this need.
