My friend, a US Citizen was married in California to an Australian citizen after he spent about 1 month there in California. He took her back to Australia where they have lived for about 6 years. She's returning to the states soon and wants to file for divorce. The state of Kansas requires 60 days residency before filing. Should we expect any issues with Australia if he counter sues. ...
