Friday night video games will soon join Monday Night Football on television. Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting System, a unit of Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX) will partner with WME/IMG to create a league for videogame players and fans, reports The Wall Street Journal. The league, which has not yet been named, will launch in 2016 and give fast-growing e-sports a permanent prime-time television home, the paper says.
