Runaway Army Blimp Finally Comes To Rest In Pennsylvania

A helium-filled unmanned Army observation blimp went wild around noon on Wednesday, snapping from its moorings at a proving ground northeast of Baltimore, dragging 10,000 ft of cable underneath it, while spending much of the afternoon being tracked by the Air Force. When it finally deflated some four hours later, it came to rest in two pieces near Moreland Township, Pennsylvania.
