The Rangers looked like a tough matchup on paper tonight especially after acquiring Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Beltran at the trade deadline. But Baseball games aren't played on paper. Dylan Bundy was simply masterful tonight, comepletely shutting down the Rangers potent lineup with seven shutout innings and just one hit and a walk allowed. Bundy carried a no hitter into the 6th before Elvis Andrus broke it up with a single into center. He finished the game with seven strikeouts and left to a standing ovation. He's the Hangout Player of the Game! Pedro Alvarez launched two home runs tonight to raise his total to 15 on the season. Adam Jones went 2-for-4 and hit his 21st homer of the season. Matt Wieters hit his 10th homer of the season. Box Score ...
