The Apology To China: Another New Routine In Doing Business

When actress and model Kiko Mizuhara apologized to China in an online video last month after Chinese netizens dug up material casting her as a Japanese nationalist with anti-China sentiments., the news probably rolled more eyes than eased consciences. Such a parade of performing artists, media outlets and major companies have apologized to China in the past few years that the fad even spawned a contest for the best apology to China.
