It is hard to describe the sense of disorientation and loss of identity some of us who are British and could not have ever imagined the EU referendum result have been feeling, since the vote in June. I came across a blog post written recently by an ex-journalist and a colleague that captures a good sense of it. It is not an exaggeration to say that I, for one, still wake up every morning and hope that it was a bad dream. But as nightmares go, this one only seems to get worse. We are now in a situation where the country appears to be getting more fractured every day.
