Heat forward Chris Bosh says he’s not thinking about taking his $76 million guaranteed and walking away

  A resolute Chris Bosh has a message for fans who say he should take his guaranteed money and end all thoughts of ever playing Basketball again. “I’m not really thinking about money, I’m thinking about where my heart is.” In the fifth and final episode of his self-directed original series of digital shorts for uninterrupted.com called “Rebuilt,” Bosh said he understands that line of thinking but that’s not him. After missing the second half of the last two seasons because of blood clots, Bosh failed a physical on Sept. 19 and one week later, about an hour before the Heat’s media day, president Pat Riley told a small group of beat reporters that he does not expect Bosh ever to play for Miami again. Bosh, who remains on the Heat roster despite no longer being with the team, has about $76 million remaining on his contract, which is guaranteed whether plays or not. “What I would say to the people who just see the money and kind of see my situation and say, ‘Hey, just walk away.’ I get it. I totally get it,” Bosh said in the video released today. “I understand you. I hear you.
