Kevin Durant made an appearance at JamTown this weekend, surprising hundreds of young athletes this past Saturday by showing his support for their ongoing Basketball endeavors. KD was rewarded with a special one-of-one adult pair of the Nike KD 9 Fire And Ice, an upcoming grade school exclusive colorway that features contrasting red and blue mismatched Flyknit inspired by a young KD’s practice regiment throughout winter. When a young Durant would train outside during the coldest months of the year, his hands would freeze and then burn like fire when he washed them with water. That’s represented through an icy-blue right Nike KD 9 shoe and a fire-inspired left, each displaying the KD 9’s premium Flyknit construction and Zoom Air for extra cushion throughout. The Nike KD 9 Fire And Ice grade school exclusive will release on November 11th at select spots.
