In the fall of 2013, I helped launch the Education Design Studio incorporated (EDSi), a private, for-profit hybrid incubator, seed-fund, design studio that operates in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania. During the past four years, my team at Innovation @ Penn GSE and I have spent the past four years developing a mentoring program to complement the on-site and on-line whole-group instruction that EDSi fellows receive. We have learned many lessons about mentoring as EDSi has evolved over time.
