Source: mynorthwest.com - Thursday, December 15, 2016
A Mount Vernon police officer is suffering a gunshot wound to the head at Harborview Medical Center after a standoff Thursday night. The law enforcement community and elected officials are offering words of encouragement to the injured officer and his family. This is sickening. Too many brothers and sisters in blue becoming targets. Keep this officer in your thoughts and prayers. #wehaveyoursix http://pic.twitter.com/SgyjuubKAJ — Renton Firefighters (@RentonFireL864) December 16, 2016 Our Thoughts & Prayers with Mt Vernon Police Officer shot tonight & all of @MVPolice .
