Microsoft has often been criticized for leaving Windows phones behind and focusing on rival platforms like Android and iOS, and while everyone sees the death of Windows 10 Mobile as imminent, it looks like the software giant has different plans. A new report coming from Thurrott reveals that Microsoft is internally working on a reboot of the mobile platform that could bring new updates both in terms of software and hardware. Specifically, the report claims Microsoft is internally testing first-party hardware, which means that the company is working on a phone that could be launched with an updated operating system.
