Coinbase wont accept passport and phone number from different country!?

I’ve spent two week trying set up a coinbase account,I have an Irish passport but I live in Australia and have an Australian phone number,the automated system says I.d is valid but from a different country to the applicant,if I go to my profile to to amend this using am id from the country I’m from it says id is valid but from a different country!? The most infuriating part is the absolute and complete lack of customer support,multiple un answered emails…what do I do!? ...
