I think an even bigger hole is the death grip Apple has on its development environment — preventing such tasks like calling a song up from Spotify through Siri. Until Apple’s SDKs (esp. Siri) are truly open, it will be difficult to make ubiquitous requests from my Watch to access any app a phone would normally handle. 🤔 ...
