With their play the past couple months, you could make a strong argument that the Tigers will finish with that distinction this season. The Detroit Tigers' 7-4 loss to the Kansas City Royals Wednesday night marked their ninth straight defeat, and it gives them a 4-22 record in the month of September. With four games remaining in the season, the Tigers (62-96) are on the verge of possessing the worst record in all of Baseball, only a half-game ahead of the San Francisco Giants (62-97). The way they've played for the past couple months certainly suggests they're the worst team in Baseball. But what about next year: Will the rebuilding Tigers be the worst team in Baseball in 2018? By shipping off many of their top players in exchange for prospects and dumping payroll in the process, the Tigers have committed to the rebuilding process. If they finish with the worst record in Baseball this season, they'll have the No. 1 draft pick in 2018. It's hard to envision the Tigers being much better next season than they are right now. That brings us to the next question: How long will it take the Tigers to rebound as an organization? ...
