One great thing about Baseball is, there’s always a chance of seeing something new... The Diamondbacks just released a compilation video of some of the more unusual moments of the 2017 season. While it’ll be remembered for the play on the field, as the team reached the playoffs for the first time in six years, there were some lighter moments as well, and the video showcases these. Included among them are the rain-delay bowling game in Chicago, an avian effort to become part of a double-play [even our animal friends are not immune to the charms of Paul Goldschmidt , it would appear!], and the multiple different facets of PeraltaHighFiveGate, where an ongoing conspiracy of team-mates plotted to deny the Freight Train high-five privileges! Surprised not see more from the rain-delay, to be honest - not least the dance-off with the opposing bullpen! But I was surprised how many of these I did remember.
