Hulu’s World Series Stream Crashed in the Middle of Game 4

Baseball fans were left gripping their remotes in frustration as Hulu, a popular cord-cutting service, botched the transmission of Saturday’s World Series Game 4 matchup between the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The trouble began in the third inning, when Hulu’s live-stream crashed, displaying a “Playback Failure” message that invited users to “Retry.” Those who did saw a loop of a single pitch before the service crashed anew. The service was finally restored around two hours later, at which point most of the game was over.
