As we inch closer and closer to GamesCom, it appears that in the case of Fallout 76 we’re going to be getting more details about the game from European gaming sources. Following word about cross-play and Sony’s insistence to to not play ball , new Fallout 76 details have surfaced regarding fast travel and PvP features. These new nuggets of information come by way of Italian website multiplayer.it and once more come from director Todd Howard. During the piece, Howard confirmed that the game will feature a fast travel system of some sort. Specifics on how this travel system works were not shared or elaborated upon, but the prevailing assumption of it functioning similarly to other Bethesda RPGs is a pretty safe bet. Howard also confirmed that players who are below level 5 cannot be killed in PvP. While PvP still is an optional activity in the West Virginian wasteland, those who are just beginning their journey can’t be wiped out by some errant high-level player with lots of time and bare little empathy. That said, Howard also mentioned that this feature could change as Fallout 76 nears its final release.
