God forgive me, I interviewed Christian Louboutin while wearing a couple of trainers. Not fancy sci-fi ones either, but properly old and grimy ones. He is even the man that is credited, or blamed, for bringing the stiletto back in fashion. So wearing trainers to meet him is a touch like suggesting to Jamie Oliver we meet at McDonald’s for lunch.
