Say what you will about the some of the more dubious characters on the Dallas Cowboys, but quarterback Dak Prescott has been nothing short of a class act in the NFL. And some recent revelations on “The Dan Patrick Show” may shed some light on his personality. “When I was young, I was a huge Tim Tebow fan,” Prescott told Patrick. “I went to Mississippi State to play under the same offense Tim Tebow played under. I wore number 15 for Tim Tebow. To me, he’s arguably one of the greatest, if not the greatest, college football player, him and Reggie Bush.” Prescott played for Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen, who was the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator for Tim Tebow at the University of Florida. “So just the fact of everything that he did and how he tough he was at the quarterback position. To me, he changed the quarterback position in college to being a tough guy for some offenses especially that spread offense to running the ball as much as me and him did, that just allowed me to take similarities from his leadership and his game,” Prescott said. To be fair, the comparisons between Tebow and Prescott might be unfair. While Tebow was given nary a fair shot in the NFL, Prescott has already exceeded Tebow’s career statistics after just his rookie year. He has more wins, yards and touchdowns than Tebow had.
