Red Raider Ravioli: are two NFL draft picks enough for Texas Tech?

A bunch of thoughts after the show in Dallas Buongiorno! I am glad to have you here once again on RRR, the most useless VTM’s Sunday column! This week, I don’t want to talk about Baseball, despite there’s an important series taking place in Fort Worth, It was the NFL draft week, and I’m writing this after a substantial list of undrafted free agents already found a professional team. The Red Raiders that now have an NFL home (with the corresponding link to the dedicated VTM article) are: WR Keke Coutee - Houston Texans, 4th round, 103rd overall WR Dylan Cantrell - Los Angeles Chargers, 6th round, 191st overall WR Cameron Batson, UFA, Tennessee Titans QB Nic Shimonek, UFA, Los Angeles Chargers DT Mychealon Thomas, UFA, New York Jets WR Derrick Willies, UFA, Cleveland Browns RB Justin Stockton, UFA, Seattle Seahawks The first thing we can see is there are six offensive players, alongside only one defender. This was somehow predictable, as Texas Tech is well-known for its offense rather than its defense, but there’s also to say that there were ten players that performed in the Pro Day, with only seven with some possibilities to receive a contract, and Mych was the only defender. By the way, all of these seven reached the goal: well done! Michael C.
