Recruit Commits To Play Baseball, Football At Big Ten School

Source: thespun.com --- Sunday, April 29, 2018
If you can play football or Baseball in the Big Ten, you must be pretty good. If you can play both, that’s even more impressive. This afternoon, three-star defensive end Adam Berghorst announced his commitment to Michigan State. Berghorst is a two-way lineman for Zeeland (Mich.) East. He’s also a two-sport star. Berghorst is a standout pitcher at Zeeland, and he’ll have the opportunity to play both sports in East Lansing. He shouted out both schools in his commitment announcement on Twitter. Blessed and proud to say I have committed to Michigan State University to play both football and Baseball! #GoGreen ⚔️✅ pic.twitter.com/Msueagh62a — Adam Berghorst (@adam_berghorst) April 29, 2018 As a football player, Berghorst is the No. 14 player in the state of Michigan according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He’s also the 35th-ranked strong-side defensive end in the nation. Berghorst was offered by Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Purdue and others for football. He’s clearly a quality prospect on the gridiron. Now we’ll have to see whether his future ultimately lies there or on the Baseball diamond.
