The Great Escape 2016 adds UNiiQU3, D Double E, Mumdance and more

Another 100 artists have been added to the annual seafront bash. Brighton’s multi-venue festival The Great Escape has added more artists from the worlds of grime, dance music, R&B and beyond to 2016’s huge line-up, including rising Jersey club star UNiiQU3, Newham Generals veteran D Double E , UK club trailblazer Mumdance and more. Grime will be putting in a big showing at the festival this year, with scene newcomers Elf Kid , AJ Tracey and Jammz, BBK’s Frisco and Logan Sama added to the line-up. UK MCs Lady Leshurr and Avelino also join the bill, as well as Disclosure collaborator RØmans , who appears alongside MC Nadia Rose . The line-up also features a selection of fresh vocal talent, including Samm Henshaw , Royce Wood Junior , Kiko Bun and Michael Kiwanuka . They join the previously announced Shura , Oh Wonder and Mura Masa at the festival, which takes place in Brighton from May 19-21. Full details and tickets can be found at The Great Escape website.
