In a game eerily similar to Friday's first loss in Omaha, it was immediately evident Saturday that Oklahoma State's starting pitcher — this time ace Thomas Hatch — didn't carry his best stuff to the mound, while OSU's offense again mustered minimal damage in a season-ending 5-1 loss to Arizona. The Cowboys, finished at 43-22, fell just short of the national championship series, losing back-to-back games to the Wildcats.
