U.K. In Shock : A Divided Island With An Absence Of Leadership

This weekend the United Kingdom is in a state of shock at the historic referendum vote on Thursday June 23rd, 2016 to leave the European Union. Despite a 52% vote for the 'Leave' camp, with more than 30 million people voting in the highest turnout in a U.K-wide vote since the 1992 general election, the country feels as far from "united" as it is possible to imagine.
