BYU's defense dominated Utah State on defense, leading to a 28-10 win on Senior Night in Provo. This was a different game than the last time the Aggies traveled to LaVell Edwards Stadium. While Utah State struck first and was able to hang on for about a half, BYU's defense put this game out of reach. Here's the grades for BYU's win over USU: Offense The BYU offense ran wild over the Aggies as it racked up 249 yards rushing over the Utah State defense. Jamaal Williams led all rushers with 131 yards on just 18 carries with a touchdown. It was good to see Williams back from injury and do so well. However, it was another rough night for Taysom Hill against Utah State as he was injured for the third time in his career against the Aggies. He didn't have a great passing game as he finished with 101 yards passing with one touchdown and two picks. Nick Kurtz was the only reciever that had more that two catches on the night. Tanner Mangum came in after Hill injured his elbow. He had only one pass, and it was for a 5-yard touchdown. While it wasn't a marque night for the offense, it did get the job done with a potent rushing attack. Grade: B Defense The turning point in this game came from the defense as Logan Taele forced a fumble that Michael Shelton took to the house.
