Khalil Mack was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the fifth-overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Since then, he has done absolutely nothing at the NFL level besides record 30 sacks and terrorize opposing offenses in a myriad of ways. So, it’s obvious that the Raiders would like to lock him up long-term. But, Adam Schefter says that Mack shouldn’t expect to get a big deal just as the Raiders can’t afford it. “With deals done for Gabe Jackson/Derek Carr, Khalil Mack will have to wait till 2018 for new deal, per sources. Too big to fit under cap now,” Schefter tweets. The Raiders have Mack under team control for the next two years, three if you include the potential franchise tag. So, they don’t have to do anything right away, and it looks like they can’t. No one should be worried, he ain’t going anywhere. ...
