Oregon State Baseball: Beavs overcome Wolf Pack in 2nd straight Extra Inning Walkoff

After a thrilling extra-innings win in yesterday’s match, the Beavs and the Wolfpack put on another spectacular extra innings game. Back-to-back games. Back-to-back extra-inning spectacles. Back-to-back walk-offs. For the 2nd game in a row, it took the Beavers extra innings to take the win against the Nevada Wolf Pack . This game was exciting from start to finish and Beaver Nation hit almost every emotion throughout the course of this game. The teams swapped scoreless efforts throughout the first 3 innings of the game. Jordan Britton started on the bump for the Beavs and looked strong in his appearance throughout the first 3 innings. That all changed when the Wolf Pack struck first in the 4th inning. The Wolf Pack erupted for 3 home runs and 5 total runs in the 4th to race out to a commanding 5-0 lead. After a scoreless inning and a half for the Beavs, UNR looked to be seizing command of the game. That would all change in the bottom of the 6th when the Beavs finally broke through on the scoreboard with an RBI double by Michael Gretler followed shortly by a sac fly by Kyle Nobach to pull the Beavs within 3 runs after 6 innings.
