Kansas City's newest professional team will begin play this May, The Kansas City Star reports. The Kansas City Majestics will play in the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League, which includes 40 teams in all. Sarah Campbell, a former University of Missouri player, is a co-owner and the team's head coach. Jade Tinner, a former University of Missouri-Kansas City player and another co-owner, will play for the team and serve as its director of marketing.
