At GamesCom 2016, which is open to all from 18th to 21st of August, the cosplay village (hall 10.1) is among the highlights, as it was in the previous year. It is the meeting point for many gaming fans, who, thanks to sophisticated costumes, are in some cases easily mistaken for their heroes from the computer games. The cosplay contest does justice to the popularity of the cosplay village and the fantastic dedication of the many cosplayers at GamesCom. This is why the cosplay contest, which is being carried out by Defcon Unlimited, is once again taking place this year. The cosplay contest is awarding prizes in a total of six categories. The winners will be announced on 21st of August 2016 on the Cosplay Stage in hall 10.1. This way to the application for the cosplay contest 2016 by Defcon Unlimited . All users with a valid Sunday ticket for GamesCom 2016 can apply for the cosplay contest. The application folder should include a photo out of costume, the filled out profile, a song for the stage and of course a photo or a drawing of the costume, which the applicant must have made himself.
