Japanese-American veterans were honored Sunday at a memorial service honoring those who lost their lives or served during World War II. Members of the Dai Ichi Ward of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Japanese Church of Christ and the Salt Lake Buddhist Temple gathered at the annual ceremony at the Salt Lake City Cemetary's World War II Japanese-American veteran's monument.
