Recently Apple hired Dan Dodge, the former chief executive officer of QNX, operating system developer used by Blackberry to join the Apple Car team this year. The latest talk and rumors have to do with a new member being added to the Apple Car team, Dan Dodge brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the growing number of team members already participating with “Project Titan”. According to reports Mr. Dodge will take a position under Bob Mansfield. Also the latest talk to surface has to do with a redirection of the Apple Car. The company could be heading in the direction of creating a self-driving vehicle software rather than a car itself. Apple could collaborate with other car makers in using its software in the car maker’s vehicles. Most people speculate Apple will build its own vehicle which could or could not be an autonomous driving system. However the direction goes, Apple has acquired some of the top specialist engineers in software and hardware, as well as chief executives in their specialty fields who are known to be top-notch in their work.
