Registrations have officially opened for Waste Expo Australia 2017, a waste and resource recovery event taking place from 11–12 October at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The free-to-attend exhibition and conference offers visitors access to brands exhibiting on the show floor as well as over 20 industry experts participating in the Waste Summit seminar series. Featuring keynote presentations, case studies, panel sessions and white paper discussions, the Waste Summit provides an opportunity for attendees to learn from industry peers and to stay informed across areas including policy, legislation, circular economy, waste to energy, solid waste management, new technologies and advancements. The full Waste Summit program, set to be released in the coming weeks, includes respected local and international industry experts. Grant Musgrove from the Australian Council of Recycling (ACOR), Max Spedding from the National Waste and Recycling Industry Council (NWRIC), and senior representatives from the Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG) and the Environmental Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) are already confirmed in the program.
