With a mix of offseason professional players, former college stars and current college players, the Sunflower State Games adult Basketball tournament is never a cakewalk for any team. That was particularly true this year, with the Kansas All Stars going through a strong field of competitors to claim the SSG title on Sunday at Lee Arena. “Up and down, I think this was probably the most competition that’s been in this tournament since I’ve been playing in it,” said Eric Ray, a former Pittsburg State and Topeka High guard who played with the All Stars. read more ...
