I think Merkel might be too: Fewer failed asylum seekers are being deported from Germany to their home countries and according to the German government it is doctors who are not allowing them to carry out deportations. Egyptian officials have rescued about 160 survivors from Wednesday’s shipwreck off the country’s north coast, leaving about 150 people still unaccounted for, according to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
