Hawkeyes Reworking Offensive Line During Spring Football Practice

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- With Basketball over, Hawkeye fans now turn their attention back to football, even if the season opener is still six months away. Spring football gives those fans an early snapshot of what the team might look like. With Iowa, you can almost always guarantee a solid offensive line, and this year is no different. "We're still moving guys around and working things out," Iowa offensive lineman Cole Croston said. "I'm sure we'll miss the seniors, Austin (Blythe) and Jordan (Walsh) did a great job up there, but it's just exciting to get some new faces in there. We're working to make everything work out." The Hawkeyes will also be back at Valley Stadium Friday, April 8 for practice as gates open at 4:30 p.m. An autograph session with the team is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by open practice at 6 p.m. After the practice, the first 275 kids ages 7 to 12 to register for a clinic will also get a free t-shirt. ...
