DES MOINES, Iowa -- Baseball season is almost here as the I-Cubs open up the 2016 PCL season at home on Thursday. Before then, Baseball fans enjoyed a fun day Saturday at Principal Park's open house in Des Moines. Hundreds of I-Cub fans got a tour of the stadium and a chance to play catch in the outfield. "It's an awesome experience to be out here on kind of a cold Saturday morning, but at least we're able to come out on the field and take advantage of a beautiful stadium," Paul Benschoter said. The I-Cubs take on Round Rock at 3:05 p.m. Thursday in the season opener. ...
