After many people have decided to leave Colorado State men’s Basketball recently, head coach Larry Eustachy is trying to bring a new young man in. On Saturday, at the annual Green and Gold Game held by CSU Football , Eustachy was in attendance with Gian Clavell, Emmanuel Omogbo and recruit Che Bob. #CSUmbb high priority recruit Che Bob at the Spring Game today. His high school mascot was the same Apaches, at Arlington County Day High School. From there, Bob moved onto South Plains College, the same junior college the Rams found Omogbo and Stanton Kidd. Last season, Bob played in 28 games, starting 11, and playing 19.3 minutes per contest. The guard averaged 15.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 blocks per game last year, and the soon-t0-be junior may be coming to Colorado State next. Bob stands at 6-foot-5 and is the kind of tough-nosed, rebound-first guard the Rams need. Currently, the only newcomer scheduled to play for CSU hoops is Devocio Butler, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Hill College. With John Gillon and Toby Van Ry leaving the program last night , plus four seniors who already left, Colorado State has five scholarships to fill.
